Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
User Economics is published by Sidharth, an individual developer based in India (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to the User Economics app and usereconomics.com (the “service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Using User Economics
You can read without an account. Some features, such as highlights, notes and submitting links, need one. Keep your sign-in private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be at least 16 to use the service.
Stories, AI and sources
Stories, summaries, headlines, artwork and podcast episodes are produced with AI from public sources and checked by our newsroom process. They can still contain mistakes or miss context. Each story links to its sources: check them before relying on a story.
User Economics is news and commentary, not professional, legal, financial or investment advice. Model rankings, prices and plan comparisons are estimates as of the date shown and change often.
Sources, links and sponsors
Articles, videos and sites we link to belong to their owners and are governed by their own terms. We aren’t responsible for third-party content or services. Sponsored cards and ads are labelled; an advertiser’s or sponsor’s offer is between you and them.
What you add
You keep ownership of the highlights, notes, links, votes and reports you add. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display them as needed to run the service; for links you submit to Spotted, this includes publishing the link and its preview if we approve it. We may decline or remove anything we add to the service at our discretion.
Acceptable use
- Don’t submit links or content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or that contains malware.
- Don’t scrape, copy or republish the service’s stories at scale, or use them to train AI models, without our permission.
- Don’t probe, disrupt or overload the service, get around its limits, or access it other than through our apps, site and published APIs.
- Don’t manipulate rankings, votes or reports, for example with automated accounts.
Our content
The service, including its stories, design, artwork and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it for your own non-commercial reading. You may share links to stories and use the share cards the app creates.
Changes, suspension and ending
We may change or discontinue features, and we may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect the service or others. You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from Settings → Account in the app.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and, to the extent permitted by law, has no warranty obligation for it beyond refunding the purchase price (if any) if the app fails a warranty. Apple isn’t responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual-property claims; we are, as set out in these terms. You confirm you aren’t in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes; any mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.
